Driver CE poultry transport

Function description

We are looking for a truck driver (CE) for our client Transportbedrijf Broekman from Haler.

What do they do:

Transportbedrijf Broekman has developed into a professional poultry transport company in recent years, with a large customer base at home and abroad.
The company has its origins in the vaccination company, which takes care of both vaccinations of poultry and loading and unloading them.

Origin:

Transportbedrijf Broekman was founded in 2006 by Jan Broekman and his son Richard, in order to be able to offer an extra service to the customers of their vaccination company. The family business has grown from 2 trucks in the early years, to 8 modern combinations today. This serves part of the Western European market.

Services:

Transportbedrijf Broekman specializes in the transport of young mother animals and young laying hens. This poultry is transported in crates, which is much more animal-friendly than other transport methods. Broekman can also handle the loading and unloading of the animals.

Work area:

Entbedrijf Broekman has a strategic location in the south of the Netherlands. This allows them to easily serve an international market. Outside the Netherlands, they work with clients in Belgium, Northern France and Germany (mainly North Rhine-Westphalia).

As a driver (CE) you are responsible for the transport of chickens. In addition to driving, you are also responsible for loading and unloading the truck at the customer's premises.

Function demands

• A valid driver's license (CE)
• Code 95
• Driver's card
• Be prepared to do a few overnight stays
• Dutch in word and writing is a must
• German and French is a plus
